For the holiday weekend, I am heading up to New Hampshire to hang out with some friends. Jason is staying behind and joining us on Sunday. I feel bad abandoning him, but he has a large exegesis paper to work on, and I'm leaving him with this week's make:a fresh loaf of banana bread (made from the recipe in the Better Homes & Gardens cookbook) and some chicken tortilla soup I made earlier. (I'll post the recipe for that at some point. It's a good one.) So I'm off to New Hampshire, knowing my husband will not starve in my absence.
And now to the moment you've all been waiting for. Drum roll please....and the winner is...
Everyone!! If you commented on my Strawberry Fields Forever post, you will soon be receiving a jar of strawberry jam and/or strawberry lemon marmalade. Let me know what your preference is, and I'll send it out right away. (I believe I have all of your addresses, or I live in your building.) Congrats to all the winners, and happy 3rd of July!
YOU ARE THE COOLEST BLOGGER EVER. I think SouleMama should follow your example. And Holly at decor8. And Aleta at Omnomicon. And all bloggers. It's true.
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to have a sample of each, if that's possible (I think I already stated that, but I'll just say it again). If that doesn't work, let's go with... strawberry lemon marmalade! Woot!
YES!! I would love the strawberry jam : ) We'll be out of town until July 21st...but I would still love some when I return, if possible : And I'm so glad you posted the owls...I was waiting for them to arrive : )
ReplyDeleteWow! You are too kind. I would adore a jar of strawberry jam. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a wonderful time in NH!
Dude! That's what I get for getting behind on my blog reading. bummer.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, Ariah. There's still raspberry, blackberry, and blueberry season coming up. I can't make any promises, but chances are there just might be another sweet summer giveaway before too long. :o)
ReplyDeleteRobin, mom has UBER amounts of blueberries... I'm sure she'll be giving you some. Together we just processed 72 pints! Yet another reason to hurry down to the promised land for some Jersey Fresh produce. No offense, but who would actually want jam made from Massachusetts when they could have a cute Jersey Fresh sticker on their jam?!?! just kidding...I'm sure your jam is still delicious ;o)
ReplyDeleteI've missed seeing your updates -- everything going okay?
ReplyDeleteHey, Jill. Thanks for asking. Everything's great. I'm just WAY behind on posting. I should have something up by the end of the day. :o)
